Seven of Cups ✨

The Seven of Cups traditionally represents fantasy, illusions, imagination, and the many choices and possibilities we may have. It reminds us that not everything is always as it seems, and sometimes our desires or fears can cloud our judgment.

When I first looked at this card, one word immediately came to mind: illusion.

A few phrases followed: "Remove your mask to see," "The odds are against you," and "Think with your Wise Mind."

Wise Mind is a concept I used to teach when working with youth. It is the balance between our emotional mind and our logical mind. Rather than allowing our emotions to make decisions for us or relying solely on logic, Wise Mind encourages us to bring both together.

For me, that is the heart of today's message.

We may have several paths we could choose, each offering something different. Some may seem exciting, others intimidating, and some may be nothing more than illusions we've created through our hopes, fears, or expectations.

The Seven of Cups asks us to remove the mask, see beyond the illusion, and consider our choices with clarity.

Not every opportunity is what it appears to be, but that doesn't mean we should stop dreaming. It simply means we need to recognize the difference between what we imagine and what is actually for us.

How to Work With This Energy

Take time to consider your options without rushing into a decision. Acknowledge what you're feeling, examine what you know to be true, and allow both to guide you.

Dream big, but keep your feet on the ground.
