The Moon 🌙

The Moon is number 18 of the Major Arcana and symbolizes intuition, dreams, illusion, and everything that exists beneath the surface. It reminds us that not everything can be understood through logic alone. Sometimes we have to trust what we feel, even before we can fully explain it.

This particular depiction of The Moon feels softer than the traditional imagery. The woman gazes upward beneath the crescent moon, almost as though she is daydreaming, lost for a moment in her hopes, wishes, and imagination.

Maybe there is wisdom in allowing ourselves to do that.

Our dreams can show us what our hearts are reaching toward. However, The Moon also asks us to use discernment. There is a difference between imagining what could be and convincing ourselves that something is. We can dream without losing sight of what is real.

Give yourself permission to dream today. Notice what keeps appearing in your thoughts, imagination, or intuition. Instead of dismissing it, ask yourself what it may be showing you.

At the same time, stay grounded. Let intuition guide you, and allow clarity to unfold in its own time.
